We're putting a lot of time and effort into this band, and we all hope to be able to present it to an audience in a not too distant future
We have been playing together on and off for several years, at times interrupted by unforeseen circumstances.
With our current setup, we started playing in October/ November 2005

contemporary artists from the Norwegian Jazz-scene.
We are in the process of adding music clips, video and more functions to this web site. In the meantime, please visit NRK URØRT
This is a web site for unsigned artists, and we are represented with several songs
Search for Hokus Pokus in the left field. Feel free to download music, vote for the music as you wish, and preferably leave a comment in the guest book there
We are now also represented at UHORT.NO

"Jazz is not dead, it only smells funny" - Frank Zappa
We've also included some songs of ours right here for your listening pleasure:
NEW TUNE!!
Smaug ( A first for us; a song with vocals!! The vocals are performed by Geir Heigaard)
This song is inspired by the book of J.R.R. Tolkien; The Hobitt
Siste Stær (Last Starling)
Inspired by the birds that migrate during Autumn
Måkens Ville Flukt Mot Fjellveggen
Yet another tune about birds; this one's entitled "The Seagull's wild escape towards the mountainside"
Borti Der ( Over There)
Havregubbens Ball ( Old Oat Geezer's Ball)
This is a song inspired by an old Norwegian traditional song called " No Livnar Det i Lundar" by Elias Blix
In English, this would be something like: "Open Your Mouth " (One of the band members had a dentist appointment on the next day)
This is a brand new tune, recorded at rehearsals just recently and featuring our new guitarist, Arnt Knutsen. This song is also edited.
Enjoy!
These are by no means finished products, they have been recorded live to CD-recorder during rehearsals, with absolutely no mixing or dubbing
